We want you to try Alquie with peace of mind. Here we explain how refunds work, simply and directly.
This policy summarizes the refund conditions for Alquie subscriptions and is part of our Terms of Service (section 4). Payments are processed through Paddle (Merchant of Record).
14-day free trial
Paid plans may be offered with a 14-day free trial with access to all their features. To start the trial a valid payment method is requested, but no charge is made during the trial period. We send an email reminder at least 2 days before it ends. If you cancel before it finishes, you are not charged and keep access until the end of the 14 days. If you don’t cancel, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and the first month or year is charged. The trial is available once per account.
Subscription refunds
If you cancel within the first 30 days of a new charge (first subscription or renewal), you may request a full refund. The refund is processed to the same payment method you used. After that period, no proportional refunds are issued for unused time, unless required by applicable law. The Free plan generates no charges, so no refund applies.
Right of withdrawal (EU / EEA)
If you reside in the European Union or the EEA, you also retain the 14-day right of withdrawal granted by European law. If you choose to start using a digital service immediately, you may expressly waive that right to the extent permitted by the applicable regulations.
How to request a refund
Email us at billing@alquie.com from your account email, stating the reason for your request. We’ll reply promptly and, if applicable, the refund is handled through Paddle.
Processing times
Once approved, the refund is processed by Paddle. The time it takes to appear in your payment method depends on your bank or issuer, and usually takes a few business days.
Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your settings panel. When you cancel, you keep access to your plan’s features until the end of the period already paid, with no further renewals.
Payments processed by Paddle
Alquie uses Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) as Merchant of Record. This means Paddle handles billing, invoicing, applicable taxes and refunds on our behalf. We never store your full card details.
